HI TOOLS / 01

Workflow capacity calculator

Estimate how much time a repeat task consumes and what an improvement could release.

YOUR HI TOOLS REPORT

Build your result to see the report and export options.

Estimate the value of time released for other work. This is capacity value, not guaranteed cash savings.

How the calculation works

Monthly hours = people × weekly hours × 52 ÷ 12 × reduction. Capacity value = released hours × hourly cost. Monthly tool costs are then deducted. Setup recovery uses that remaining monthly value; if it is zero or negative, recovery is not reached.

The model assumes a steady working year. Adjust your inputs for holidays, adoption time and the work you can realistically remove.

Project fee planner

Start with the delivery cost, allow for uncertainty and see the fee required for your target margin.

YOUR HI TOOLS REPORT

A pricing scenario based on the costs you enter. Figures exclude VAT or sales tax and are not an issued quote.

Margin is different from markup

Budgeted cost includes delivery time, other costs and contingency. Fee = budgeted cost ÷ (1 − target margin). A 30% margin means that 30% of the fee remains above the entered cost budget; it does not mean adding 30% to the cost.

Unentered overheads will still reduce the result. See the BDC explanation of margin.

YOUR HI TOOLS REPORT

Check the current balance, recipient and due date before using the draft. The wording adapts to invoices due in the future, today or earlier. It does not add interest, legal threats or payment details.

Nothing is sent from this page. Copy or download the draft, review it and use your usual email system.
