CLIENT & TEAM OPERATIONS · OCTOBER 2026

A clear next action for every piece of work.

I designed and built a private operations CRM to bring business records, tasks and decisions into one place. The starting point was everyday coordination: what needs attention, who owns it and what is holding it up.

  • Business records
  • Task ownership
  • Decision history

The operational challenge

When work is spread across messages, notes and separate task lists, it is easy to lose the next action. A useful CRM needs to connect the business context with the practical work, while making waiting items and decisions easy to find.

What I designed and built

  • Business records connected to tasks, owners, stages and next actions.
  • A daily work view with priorities, deadlines and waiting or blocked items.
  • Shared notes and decision records, with links back to the relevant source material.
  • Private user accounts and checks that prevent one person’s stale edit overwriting a newer change.
  • Portable exports and a record of changes for review and handover.

Design decisions

I kept the work register separate from the work itself. Recording a follow-up does not mean a message was sent, and a proposed task should not silently become an agreed commitment. The design makes those distinctions visible so the team can trust the status it sees.

What is in place: A built and tested application for shared operational work. Email digest functionality was also implemented; live delivery and scheduling require a separate deployment check.

This case study covers the application build. It does not claim that every integration is live or that client results have been measured.
