A private hub for the moving parts of teaching.

I designed and implemented a mobile-friendly classroom workflow for an independent teacher. The aim was to make the next lesson, the next action and the relevant record easy to find without relying on separate calendars, messages and spreadsheets.

The operational challenge

Fixed school periods and online lessons behave differently. Online classes can move, be cancelled or have different charging outcomes; families may be in different time zones. Lesson notes, parent messages and payment follow-up need to stay connected to the right class. The teacher needed one calm view of this work on an iPhone.

What I designed and implemented

  • A dashboard bringing together school periods, online lessons and the next school-day preview.
  • Lesson records with scheduling states, student-local and Armenia time, notes and next-lesson instructions.
  • Class outcome and payment handling for completed, postponed, cancelled and no-show lessons, including no-charge and custom-charge choices.
  • Follow-up tools for reminders and parent communication. The teacher reviews prepared English messages before opening WhatsApp to send them.
  • Owner-only access, useful search and an action centre for work requiring attention.

Why the workflow matters

I treated exceptions as part of the normal process: a changed lesson must not create a duplicate charge, a missing phone number must stop a message action, and an outside integration failure must leave the underlying class record intact. The interface was built for the teacher’s daily use, with large mobile controls and a clear sequence of actions.

Delivered: a private classroom management system and practical handover guidance. I have not published student information or claimed an unmeasured time saving.

The teacher and learners are anonymous. Screenshots and private lesson records are intentionally omitted.
